? Born into ?the truth.? Both parents avid/rabid JWs. (Dad 1st generation, mom 2nd.)

? Baptized at 16. I thought at the time that it would be better to be baptized than not to be, just in case there was some hope remaining for me.

? Actually, still in good standing?for now. I?m currently 37 years old. I have to wait and bide my time for another few years until I?m in an adequate financial situation to do a solo fade. (Still living at home. Don?t laugh?it certainly has its financial advantages.)

I was a fourth generation'er.

Always felt uncomfortable with the whole thing.

Was forced into going to meetings and service until mid teens.

Never baptized.

Got married at 23 (to non witness) - tried again to fit in and please family. Same uncomfortable feelings.

Started real investigation of WTS in 1999 through books and internet.

Never been back.

1) Yes, at the age of 4. Grandmother started studying in the 1950's. 3rd generation. My mom, aunt and cousins are still in. My sister is inactive. 2) NO. 3) Stopped going to meetings after moving in with my father at age 15. I've never gone back.
