"Wait upon Jehovah."
That irritates me to no end. Why don't they just say: "let's do nothing about it because Jehovah isn't?"

"Yes, but you must understand the organisation is run by imperfect people." then they judge and throw out other imperfect people. If we have to make allowances for the elders then why can't they make allowances for us.
"Jehovah will sort it out in the end, just have faith", yeah the faith to stand back and watch while they ruin innocent peoples lives.
And my favourite. "At least being in the truth is better that being out there in the world"
My mother- in- law's favourite " Don't you want to be saved at armagedon" Last time she said that to me i just fired bac "Well i hope that's not the only reason you stay in the truth of you'll have quite a rude shock when you get ther."
We all know Brooklyn has a cuckoo clock.
Absolutely hillarious, I nearly wet my self laughing. LOL
Thanks El Kabang
______ sends their love.
Oh my lord.
Bethel send their love.
The So and So Congregation sends their love.
And while we're at it. On thing that ALWAYS grinded me.
When people would say, "Sometimes when your working so hard to bring them IN the truth, actually the Angels are kicking them out."
WTF???
Since when was that written in the Bible???
My ex used the term "worldly" people to my daughter...and she told him that she felt that word to be a discrimanating term used by witnesses when they preach about not being prejudice they label non JW's and it's very hypocritical. It stopped him in his tracks....so he now just says 'non-witnesses' to her. I was so proud of her! She's only 13.....She came up with that remark on her own, I had never even thought of that argument.
i'm in stitches laughing here.
"ones"ones!as in "interested ones"
young ones,
etc
GOD I hate that.
Wow.
These are hillarious.
Ok. This is not a buzzword, but I HATED THOSE MOCK Votes.
The Congregation would like to take a vote to see if we would like to take care of the C.O. expenses.
How many in favor?
How many opposed?
Oye!!!
Give me a break.
SPIRITUAL
As in that brother/sister is "spiritual". Meaning they do more hours and place more publications than you do, and never miss a meeting.
The "spiritual" sister who neglects her non-JW husband, he can get his own meals and "I'll see him when I can" because she is busy doing "Jehovahs Work".
The "spiritual" sister who pioneers. While her "not very-spiritual sister" is struggling looking after their elderly invalid mother/father or both.
The "spiritual" Elder who when his fathers dies, puts his JW mother in a home and visits her about once a month.
The "spiritual" brother who places 80-100 magazines a month. Held up as an example to congregation. Then when he moves away, they find out all he was doing was just pushing the magazines through any door he came across.
The "spiritual" Min Servant who gives a talk about not watching certain films, 18 rated or that contain supernatural elements. Then is discovered to have a stock of them at home on video.
The "spiritual" married pioneer Min Servant who gives a talk on JW's being clean and moral. Then three months later is disfellowshipped when its discovered he was having affairs with 3 different women on his window cleaning round. Is reinstated a year later, but does exactly the same thing again.
The "spiritual" Elder who was forever telling everyone else off for not being spiritual. Whose two daughter both got pregnant before marriage, whose Min Serv son was reproved twice, but continued as a MS and later was caught using cannabis and married a lap-dancer.
All the above really happened.
So lets all be "spiritual".
Here's one more and it may have been already said "this old system of things" I heard that one throughout my childhood.
