"spiritual food" would have to be my choice, I remember at the assemblies they used to announce "brothers and sisters, what fine spiritual food Jehovah has provided" I almost want to puke just typing this.

I like ?the end is near (just around the corner)? Or, I heard this over lunch this week ?the air is just heavy now, you can just feel the end in the air (something is in the air).? I have heard these same phrases for 30 years now. Verbatim no less.
I heard those from the time I was 4 years old. Now I am 58 and a grandmother 8 times. I never thought my children would go to school. Guess what? One of my granddaughters graduated from HS last week. My, how time flies.

Here's one, remember this from the late 80's? my grandma said that armageddon is no longer "just around the corner" but, "at the corner" meaning its so much closer than we think. well 17 years have passed since then and where is the bid "A"?
