its not demons, its just dead people who, like some on this board are still carrying so much anger they vent it on the JWs by moving smurf dolls and such (^_^)

A sister who was a prudish type sister buys a dress at a second hand store. Whenever she puts the dress on it changes her personality and she becomes a loose talking flirtatious immoral woman--even at the KH. They finally figure out the dress is loaded with demons and they have to wrestle it away from the sister, so they can restore her to her prudish personality. This was told to me by a sister who knew the sister that it happened to.

I just had to say that I LOVE Tuesday's avatar.......Johnny as a pirate is yummy. Hey, speaking of demons, there were some in that movie huh? hehe.
OK, sorry, back on track now. I have a few demons stories myself , but I shudder to think that it all could have been my mind playing games on me while a brainwashed JW.
We were so conditioned to believe that so many things would invite demons, it makes me wonder about mass hysteria.
I have been out of the borg for 2 yrs now and I havent had any demonic experiences. I do wonder how many ex jw's still see demonic things, or was that all just part of being a JW. I still have no clue as to what I believe as far as ghost, life after death, geeeeeeshh even the exsistence of God for that matter. But it is funny that I havent see any demons or strange events happen since I left the borg. Hummmmmmm.

Sweet, of all the demon stories i have read, yours were some of the best. the lottery tickets and heavens the cat thing are incredible.
my hubby and i had a bible study that had been involved in a coven. the wife had a wig, and she kept trying to killl herself. it was determined the wig -being from a foreign land, was full of the demons and we tried to burn it late one night out on a country road. the wind picked up and it would not burn on the inital try. it did however finally burn. now i personally know that one is true, i was there. this same bible study had several other problems, the son saw dead people, it seems and they had problems with the TV going on/off etc. so it was determind that my hubby and i were too young to handle this stuff(we were teenagers) so the demon buster elders were sent in.(who u gonna call-demonbusters) they got these people straightened out. looking back, i believe the wife was a little crazy, and hey since i do believe the demons exist, i am not totally against believing they harass people. i just think JWS are very superstious and scare people into thinking all kinds of goofy stuff. but i have known some very credible people who have had supernatural experiences.
thanks for the laugh, and as RR said, the story about the sisters and the 2 big men(angels) has been around a LONG time and their are many vesrions of it (the one i heard had them in a laundry )

I've heard many of these before and believe most are hogwash.
About 10 years ago my dad told me of an older sister that used to come up to him after meetings and tell him the angels love him and protect him. She'd tell others similar things, and talk to people who weren't there. Everyone thought she was demonized.
Her non-JW family took her to the doctor, and low and behold she was schizophrenic! After a short time on her meds, she no longer saw nor heard from the angels.
It's interesting that I have several of what would be considered "occult" books, and I've never had a demonic visit, except for throwing up pea soup one night while talking in toungues.....

On the final day of my JWism, when it was becoming clear to both me and my roommates that I was not long in the organization, my roommate Reuben began regaling me with all sorts of demonic stories, which he had supposedly directly experienced. They were very much of the nature here, things not burning, even when soaked in gasoline, strange voices, etc.
What really blows my mind, though, is that he is either clinically insane, a total fool, or okay with deliberately lying to keep me in the organization. Can you imagine such a thing?

7. My Husband is Bonking a Cat- Little JW sister notices her cat has been walking funny. Takes cat to the vet and vet reveals that cat has been penetrated by something non-catlike and rhymes with venus. Woman is very distraught and I forget exactly how she finds out but her husband had been sexing the cat. Now why didn't Jehovah let the faithful sister know what was going on? BELIEVABLE or NOT!!!!
Oh, wait, that's not physically possible. Unless demons allowed the cat's you-know-what to be able to stretch that far.
