I have got into the habit of checking this Forum and then going out on the deck (which we call the Church of Flow, it's a perch about 30' up) and playing my guitar for an hour or so - particularly on nice days like today. Then I come back in, look a bit of TV, eat, read and stuff like that. I consider my Sunday's sacred, I won't go anywhere unless I have to. I have thought about "church" but I am so far gone from Chistianity I would feel a hypocrite, at best an imposter (as I did as a dub). I really like my Sunday's. How about you?
What have you replaced the Sunday meetings with?

I used to work on Sundays a lot, but now I don't; so my Sundays vary, but mostly, I sleep in, read the Sunday paper, chill with my son, watch a movie, enjoy JWD, and usually drive to the beach in the afternoon, which is where I'm heading now, since my son just left for his meeting.
Then in the evening I'll do a little housework and talk to my daughter, usually on messenger.

If you were living in England, then Sunday (lunchtimes) would be spent in the pub!
Due to our ancient licensing laws, pubs and drinking establishments generally are only allowed to be open on Sundays from 12 noon until 3pm, then from 7pm until 10.30 pm.
Consequently, pubs tend to be heaving with married men on Sunday lunchtimes packing down a few beers before going home for Sunday Roast prepared by a dutiful wife.

Sleep in till 8, eat the breakfast made by hubbie and read the paper, work in my garden and flower beds. We sometmes go out to eat to a little German restaurant (to help my homesickness a little). I get ready for my literacy student on Monday.
Sunday night is my night for the 4400 (last episode tonight), Dead Zone, and my PBS Mystery series has it last episode tonight, Foyle's War placed in the UK during 1940.
Otherwise I tape them and watch them later.
We go for a ride a local park sometimes and enjoy the scenery.

Religiously:
Walk with my wife and the dog.
Watch - Meet the Press
And then it varies:
Today we went to a lake with the canoe and kayak and went to the "other" end and spent the day on a huge rock snorkling and diving and being a family.
Never once did we shun one another. Not once. Not even the dog.
