minimus,
: Farkel, do you know if he still reads the board? I hope he realizes how much appreciated he is!
He doesn't read the board, min. Therefore, he doesn't know how much we all appreciate him.
He was devastated when some assholes DEMANDED that he reveal his identity and vilified him when he wouldn't do it. This all happened on this board. I saw it all, and I saw my good friend Maximus withdraw and go into a deep depression.
Never underestimate the power and damage assholes can do. They give nothing. They hurt people. They don't care. And they do it every chance they get. They are with us, and they simply don't care about the damage they can do. They want their five minutes of fame and don't give a rat who it hurts to get it.
These people are worse than pond scum.

It's sad to know that one of the best contributors to this board became depressed because of a few who villified and hounded him. I remember that time and I was disgusted by the attitudes shown by certain ones simply because a person was a Bethel heavy or prominent person. Farkel, I hope you might tell him how much he IS missed here!!

lady lee,
: Let him know too that he now has a Best of thread. We haven't forgotten him and we do appreciate all he has done.
As soon as his wife will let me talk with him again, I will! It's not his wife who won't let us talk with him. She is like a buffer. If Max doesn't want to talk, his wife respects his wishes and lets us know. She is a great lady with a great husband. I wish I could say more about this, but I can't.
I'm with you all: I pray that Max will come back and play with us. He has so much to yet give. He's like a big brother to me. Even more scary than that, he has said I'm a great writer on WTS crap (even better than himself), and he loves my music.
Nobody is perfect, not even Max!

Thanks for the explanation. I remember reading Maximus's post in my early days on the board and he is missed as is his unique style. He's a very classy man, who obviously has classy friends.

Farkel:
I stumbled upon Maximus' threads a few months ago doing some research and really enjoyed his writing and experiences. I was saddened to find that he quit posting.
I am a "fader" also, and would feel very upset if somebody here demanded to know who I really am.
Please be sure to pass on how much I have enjoyed his posts....I think he is "amazing"!!!

So this place is being watched, ay? This sounds too tempting to pass up. Hey Brothers and Sisters from the Emporia, KS congregation. How are you all doing? It's me, your friendly neighborhood circuit overbeer.

Caveat emptor (buyer beware). Don't put anything on the Internet you don't want the whole world to know. The only personal information anyone can find out about you from this site is what you reveal yourself.

I too have been greatly encouraged by Maximus' post and wished that he would one day start posting again. Farkel, thanks for your comments in this thread, man.
