Do the JW's teach, that he never finished with us,because he never "saw that we were good". We became sinners and he still has to finish the job..something like that....

I can never get any Jehovah's Witness (or any other religious person) to discuss exactly WHEN, according to the Bible, the dinosaurs were created. Further, why were they "designed" to be so ferocious, bloodthirsty and violent? Why all the millions and millions of deaths? Half the dinosaur population were not killers, but, leaf eaters. They were breakfast for the predators. How is this indicative of Jehovah's personality? Spikes, horns, tails with bludeons, claws, fangs and death: what does this say about their "creator"?
Nobody talks about this. I had one lady I use to work with tell me that all the dinosaurs died in the flood of Noah's day!!! It was one of the few times I've been struck speechless.
A day or two later I asked the lady a question she could not answer. "What did the carnivores on the ark eat in all those years it took to repopulate their species? Whose meat did they eat?"
The carrion from the flood would make an awful rot! Not much of food value there.

Why would the eternal creator of the universe be setting his clock and making out his schedule by the orbital or rotational periods of the Earth or Moon anyway?

Yes we know that smnkes evolved from lizardlike reptiles. Even today pythons have vestigal hind limbs and pelvis. (only half cursed I guess) We have dozens of legless or nearly legless (tiny legs, sometimes only in hind) lizards on earth today. We have fossil snakes with short legs that are complete with toes.
The story is not about biology it is mythology with a message. I still think that the imagery imagined by the Hebrew author was that of a winged snake. It is called "wisest" of the animals probably again because of the association with goddess/wisdom.

Why would the eternal creator of the universe be setting his clock and making out his schedule by the orbital or rotational periods of the Earth or Moon anyway?
Especially since the moon and sun, according to the Genesis account, were not created until somewhere around the 4th day (don't remember exactly). Personally, I don't think it is meant to be taken literally.

Actually, snakes have the vestiges of legs. I believe they have little teeny claw like things somewhere near the 2nd third part of the body.
Man was supposedly made on the 6tth Creative day. JWs don't say for sure how long each creative day was anymore. But just as in the 'days' of Noah, we can't count how many days there were, its a figure of speech. Eve was supposedly created at or near the end of the 6th day.

Very interesting link Startingover.
If Gen 2:17 says: Nevertheless of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you are not to eat, for on the day you eat of it you shall most surely die."
And if Adam lived for 930 years, doesn't that go along with the 1000 yrs = 1 day in Jehovah time?
For some odd reason after reading that link....Aliens seem a little bit more realer to me....I don't know why...Just does...ET did heal Eliot.....thinking...thinking....Adam and Eve heard God "walking" through the Garden and was talking to him......Moses saw God's "glory"(his back).....God said,"No man can see me and live".....thinking...thinking...How did Chinese, Africans, all other races periods come from 2 people that everyone assumes were white?.....thinking...thinking...thinking....OOOWWWWW shoot...my head hurts now....

Day 6 Genesis Chapter 1 KJV 24: And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
25: And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29: And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30: And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31: And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
