It is tough to remember but I'm sure I did. I'm sure I felt holier than thou when I would pioneer during my summer vacations and other young people in the congregation wouldn't.
It disgusts me now to even think of acting that way.
Edited to add: hehe, yippee that was my 1000th post.

Yes, I did. And a friend of mine reminded me of that recently. :-(

I'm sure I did. Then hate myself for it. Now it is hard not to be superior and wonder why the JWs I left behind don't see the hypocrisy or if they do why they stay.

It's easy if you're English.
We look down on everyone. It's sort of genetic.

I hate to admit it, but, yes I did. I might have claimed righteous indignation over supposed JWs who's conduct could possibly give
Jesus,Jehovah, the WTS a bad reputation, but it was actually jealousy. Jealous that these so-calledChristiansJWs could live their life as they saw fit, but I, the ever faithful JW, was denied the fun and experience they had because I adhered toBible principlescorporate policy. -

I looked down on very few as a witness and now I know I am looked down upon for asking to many questions and making too many waves.

Yes, unfortunately, I looked down on others. But I tell myself not to feel too bad about it, because that is what I was TAUGHT to do. When you are raised from a small child to do this, its hard to tell that it is wrong until you get older and figure it out for yourself. Some who are still in the truth never will figure it out. Recently I told my mother that we were taught to do this as witnesses, not only to others in the truth but "worldy" people also. She had a conniption, she was so appalled at me for suggestions such a thing...
