I am sensitive, but, I try to pick my issues and those things I will make a big deal about. I've always been "sensitive", so, I try to be aware of that fact and make the appropriate emotional adjustments.

Once when I was a teenager, my little brother said to an obese friend of mine, "S****** you're FAT!" I wanted to crawl into a hole!!! S******, the most graceful woman I've ever met, said, "No, honey. I'm not fat. Jehovah just gave me really thick skin." LOL! I wanted to hug her for being so sweet about a child and his big mouth.

In answer to your question, I'm pretty sensitive. I look at it as a gift though. If I were too thick-skinned, I wouldn't be as sensitive to other people as I am. I have empathy in many situations where others don't. I always have a heart for the lost and unwanted - it's why the majority of my very close friends do not have family...I AM their family. It's also why my husband and I have taken in two cats and two dogs. All rescued animals.

At work, I struggle with finding that balance of empathy with "taking care of business". I'm pretty much "business" at the office, some think of me as a bitch. But underneath they have no idea what a softy I am. If they only knew how much stress I'm under because of the politics going on around me and my desire to see the "right" thing done. The fact that few businesses don't do the "right" thing, absolutely hurts my heart. But too often they don't know it. Which is probably why I'm affected physically with that stress. My little body can only take so much.

Maverick, you are funny! You too, Terri! I generally can take it if someone's foolin' with me but if they get nasty, I retaliate and will end up finding their Achille's heel.

well...lately I am oversensitive...........I am not doing well with realizations my Jw relatives will shun me, one already has..........it is taking a toll on me.

Awwww........{{{CB}}} That's what we are all here for......to give you the understanding and support you need........we've all been thru it, hon. Hell, my sister won't even send pictures of my nephews to me............how's that for screwed up thinking?

I recommend therapy to any that might need it in order to get out of the cult. JWs tell you it's wrong to talk to a person against the truth. Exposing things is actually good for us to do---when needed!

I forgot to answer if i am easy to deal with . Yes i am at least most think so unless i get mad, i have a nasty ,nasy temper when pushed to far. That is something i have to constantly watch is my temper but it has served me well in some situations but it takes a lot to push me that far. Other then that i go with the flow and smile.
