I like singing in the car too! People sometimes look at you funny though

Yeah, that's a problem in broad daylight!! LOL Especially if your favorite cheer-me-up CDs include 70s disco music and Disney Show Tunes....

Love, Scully (moonlight driving show-tune singing class)

or have a long soak in the bath

Yup....that's me, too. I love a long bath. I also like to watch lifetime movies or work on my scrapbooking hobby. All of these things cheer me up.

Play the piano until I have no feelings in my fingers and/or listen to Cindi Lauper CD's at dangerously loud levels ("who amongst you can resist the charm of 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' ?!") - - - - And if that doesn't work, I go to the gym and work myself until I collapse

I could do something similar.... play the piano badly at dangerously loud levels until no-ones got any feelings left in their ears!! LOL

In all seriousness though, playing an instrument is a fantastic gift, and is very soothing!!

...I spend the day in one of the gardens at my property ( working in the dirt and gardening); there is always something to be done.

I take one of my kids out to special lunch; or all of them if they are available

I try to spend some time alone with my wife; a few bottles of wine and a candlelit dinner or evening by the fire place---just the 2 of us and NO KIDS...it works every time....
