It's possible the "sudden interest" (or renewed interest) in Russell/Rutherford and the WTS' early history is sparked by the success of a book entitled Under the Banner of Heaven, a well-researched history of the Mormon church in America and its "reformed" offshoots. The story centers around a controversial murder trial 20 years ago and the writer uses that launching pad as a reason to go into orbit, historically speaking, and reveal the many controversies surrounding Mormon founder Joseph Smith and his successor, Brigham Young.

As I read it, I was constantly reminded of the controversial roots of the JWs and kept thinking, wow, why doesn't somebody write the dub version of this book?

I'm pretty sure three or four people are working on it right now.

I could see Rutherford and Bill Bowen being related.

Always do that regression analysis,Just where did it all come from?JW's are 'mutated millerites' with a dash of demonic spice thrown into the brew.

Seriously, this is vital information folks and it was a big component in my liberation.

@ my webpage>: Everything presented here about PYRAMIDOLOGY I learned from my devout, 'old time' JW grandfather, Roger Haszard. He was an elder and special pioneer (missionary.

Bedtime stories about pastor Russell (the founder of Jehovah's Witnesses), and the great pyramid. All my cousins and siblings know this to be true. Christendom has their pagan Santa Claus, and the Watchtower has their spooky occult origins.... ....Wake up and smell the facts man.
