What's the first worldly thing you did when you left?

Lol, SNG. That's what I did. I read Richard Dawkins, Jared Diamond, etc. I stopped going to meetings immediately as it was too split-personality to be reading books about evolution and going to meetings. At that time, I hadn't made up my mind.

I am trying to remember, but I think it was celebrating our grandson's first birthday with Princess and her husband (their baby). Two months later, it was her birthday, and the birthday ball started rolling..................we have a BIG family.

A year later I read Crisis of Conscience.

I traveled to Malaysia, on business, and told people I had no religion. I went to the Memorial there and lied to the elders who wanted to take me to more meetings, and out in service *gag* I told them I was much too busy and had no free time.

I gave blood at work and bought a Christmas card set and starting addressing them; but I couldn't send them...still have never sent a Christmas card! But I have now attended one Christmas party, and exchanged gifts.

Well, I started attending another church a few months before I DA'd.

I believe the first worldly thing I did after that was to celebrate Halloween for the first time in 25 years.

No, wait. Before that I took up oral sex (again), and swearing (grew up in Berkeley during the sixties).

I think the first thing I did when my family left was get into an arguement with my older brother when he kept asking "what if they're right?"

Been a while.... let's see... drove a modern motor car, listened to popular music on radio, watched non- educational tv, held doors and tipped hat to ladies of all ages in public places..........

The madness never ends does it?

Start reading Bible (C.K. Williams version) with my little daughter every night without WTS publications and without "False and Deceitful" servants in mind (I like the phrase used by Elswhere "Thought on my own" YES, it is worst "worldly" action according to the Waco and Dark Society).
