    Didier:
    We cross-posted.

    Research?
You mean looking up Leo's post?
I deserve no credit for that.

It's been a while since I read Maccabees.
    Thanks for quoting it.

I should have said "search" perhaps... I often have a hard time finding past threads...

booker-t....Yes, there's been similar discussions in this vein recently on the board, you may start with my post on the resurrection and immortality of the soul that LittleToe brought to your attention:

    http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/11/80742/1319806/post.ashx#1319806

Then peacefulpete started a rather interesting thread on "Raphael and Jesus" where we debated specifically issues surrounding the manner of the resurrection in Paul and the presence of quasi-docetism and anti-docetic devices in the gospel epiphany stories:

Some of the more technical details on this were discussed here:

    http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/10/80923/1319243/post.ashx#1319243

And the overall thread on Matthew 27:52-53 discussed how this text conflicted with Paul's doctrine on the resurrection and how the text was amended to gloss over this problem:

And finally, we had a discussion of the Assumption of Moses that is cited in the epistle of Jude, and how it described Moses' ascension to heaven at his death and how Joshua, son of Nun, saw Moses double -- one Moses that was buried and one Moses that rose to heaven in a cloud:

Quite a lot of interesting stuff!

Narkissos....Peut-être il est parce que chercheur en français a la définition du "researcher" et du "searcher"?

On edit: (hmmm, not sure if a definite article is needed before quotation marks lol)

    Tout juste!

An edit on your edit: Better without the definite article, yes. But more importantly:

Peut-être c'est parce que chercheur en français a la définition de "searcher" et de "researcher"!

Don't Rom. 8:23 and Phil. 3:21 favor a bodily resurrection?

The Jews thought he was talking about the temple building. But John explains that he was talking about the temple of his body." From these verses born-agains have created a very far-fetched doctrine that makes no sense scriptually. ..................... First of all the most important question I would ask is how is Jesus if he took his body to heaven going to use the bathroom? If it is the same body that he died in then he would have to be able to use the bathroom.

First off Booker-t are you coming back?

And who raised Jesus from the dead?

First of all there are so many questions that come to mind if we believe that Jesus arose in his fleshly body and took it to heaven.
The WTBTS says Jesus found a body with the similar holes in it
