I recently picked up the nasty habit of smoking. I have been hiding it from my wife for about a month now,(she is still a witness) to make a long story short I only smoke when I drink and go to the Casino
in Lake Charles well she busted me and was actually nice about it and said it would be our secret as long as I did not bring them in the house are ever smoke around the kids.
Sounds like she might be comming around maybe, I only hope.
Anyway I had to tell someone.

Smoking is like commiting suicide, your killing yourself little by little.
I have been in-active for almost 5 years now.
Is smoking a DF offense??? I felt (thankfully) out of touch!

It doesn't matter, it's still suicide, not to mention dirty, smelly, and stupid.
Luckily, "God", we live in a country where we can decide for ourselves if we want to die by our own hand or wait for your God to kill us!

Amen sister! I don't think smoking is a good idea (I've been free of nicotine for 8 years now!) but I do believe in freedom of choice. That freedom was given to Christ himself.

Smoking has been a disfellowshipping offense for about 30 years.
Oops! Honest - I didn't know. I've never knew anyone to be DF for smoking. Although I got DFed for confessing sins I was truly sorry for. I guess anything is a DF offense now!
