((((((fe)))))) I'm so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you.

I'm sorry about your loss Fe203, your in my thoughts and prayers. a friend of mine lost their son in a car accident a few years ago. he was 19 but still their little boy so they started a butterfly garden in his memory on their property. it brings them peace and a place to reflect on his life. i hope you too find some peace. hugs
Again, Fe, I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad that you will be able to have a funeral, I think that the thing that kept me from grieving the babies I lost 'properly' was that there was no closure, no chance to say goodbye. I hope that you will be comforted by family and by the service.
One of my favorite songs to help me remember those I've lost is "For Always" by Josh Groban. It's on his Live cd. The song was from the movie AI (originally done as a duet but I prefer the solo version) the music is by John Williams and the lyrics by Cynthia Weill.
The lyrics are:
I close my eyes
and there in the shadows I see your light
You come to me out of my dreams across
the night
You take my hand
though you may be so many stars away
I know that our spirits and souls are one
We've circled the moon and we've touched the sun
So here we'll stay
For always, forever
Beyond here and on to eternity
For always, forever
For us there's no time and no space
No barrier love won't erase
Wherever you go
I still know
In my heart you will be
With me
From this day on I'm certain that I'll never be alone
I know what my heart must have always known
That love has a power that's all its own
And for always, forever
Now we can fly
And for always and always
We will go on beyond goodbye
For always, forever
Beyond here and on to eternity
For always and ever
You'll be a part of me
And for always, forever
A thousand tomorrows may cross the sky
And for always and always
We will go on
beyond goodbye

I also found that I drew comfort from objects that reminded me of how much I loved my babies even though they died in my womb...for a long time I wore two infant rings on a chain around my neck, one for each baby. I still have them, and I keep them in a special place.
I would be honored to make you a hand made keepsake miniature blanket; if that would comfort you at all. I can make it any color that you like. I have made blankets like this for the Garden of innocence project before. I do it in honor of my babies, among other reasons.
If you would like me to create one for you, just PM me and I will get to work on it right away.
Your baby knew more love in his short existence in this life than many children know in a lifetime. Please remember that he felt that love, and also that you are a mother, still; now and always.
hugs,
essie
Iron Girl...so sorry for your loss dear. I wished I had some words of comfort for you and your family, but such a tragedy leaves one speechless. Do take care and share my condolances with the rest of your family.

Let it never be said that I never posted my condolences on this site--
I'll never know how you feel, but the only thing I can say is I do genuinely feel sorry. I know what a joy pregnancy can be. That is what I feel was a good thing about your experience. It would truly kill me inside if I had your experience.
I'm also glad that you got to enjoy the time that was left with your son and that he doesn't have to suffer any more.
