Man, this reminds me of when I ran my BBS. Some guy who used the handle "God" used to come on and just hold down a letter, watch it repeat all over the screen, and then delete it all. He would write "Man, I'm so tripping right now". I'd sit there and watch this guy waste his online time. It was pretty funny

Brenda,
I think Carl Jung said that to reach the self one must integrate the two. Not sterio types of what we call femine or masculine but the essence that drives them both.

C'mon, you know I just added the Rodman picture for the hell of it.
It's funny that we even use the words masculine and feminine to describe the traits we are talking about. But what are we going to do, our whole society is conditioned to think of very polar stereotypes for men and women.
I think for a man to think completely starts with simple awareness. Try and think of how other people feel in whatever situation they are in. Of course, we cannot possibly know every factor affecting how they feel, but the effort is what counts, and with time we hone our skills. Another big thing is listening to people in complete fairness and open-mindedness, without considering gender at all.
If a person is truly aware the preconceptions just melt away and experience leads to thinking as a human being and not a man/woman.

NL,
Thanks that makes sense the whole thing is awareness. I think that there might even be a sixth sense to intuitively feel what other people feel. To feel what a dog or cat feels like or even a worm,,or a plant. I think there are people that can do that.
Can you imagine what genuine oneness would mean for two humans living life together??

I think that our culture is too feminine.
"We're a generation of men raised by women. Sometimes I wonder if another woman is what we need." Fight Club... good book...
I just trip on nyquil, but hey, I'm kinda square that way...

Czar,
If you are able to get some good E I would recomend it, you will definitely look at life more differently. Now watch out because I think you are going to get trampled by your shavanistic remarks.

Hmmm, sixth sense, I like that better than thinking I am a "feminine" man, which is what society tries to make you feel like if you are an intuitive male. It is a skill that can be developed, as I was a complete block head emotionally until a few years ago, and it develops more and more with experience. In my personal case, it all started with awareness (who knows where that came from?).

Don't know that I want my hubby going all squishy on me, frankie. Don't ever want him to be so macho that he does not allow a more sensitive view to enter his mind for fear of being a 'girlie man', either. <My apologies to the Govenator>
I guess a happy medium is good, and people can reach a happy medium by guageing the reactions either sex has to their words/actions. If they have a brain, they'll figure it out, if not, it does not matter if they are male or female, they won't get it.

I guess what both women and men want is to be understood by their life partners. That doesn't mean to me that I have to get all squishy,, it means to be able to feel more than what the outside me appears to feel.
Can a wife and husband have an out of the body experience where they trade places say durring sexual intimacy and get to feel what the other feels like I bet such sensitiveness would lead to terrific sex as each one can feel and know what brings the greatest pleasure to the other being in their body.
