What if we all printed up some flyers advertising ..........Seek the truth about the Truth.Go to Jw.com for the answers to questions youv'e had or may have.Read articles from the watchtower that the society hopes you will never find.
I am trying to get my hands on a copy of the brochure "what do jws believe" printed in the 1980s. Once I do, I plan on creating my own brochure with a similar appearance, title, layout, and content, except containing the truth, of course. I want to put it up on the internet and possibly distribute it in print. I would share it with any 'apostates' who want it.
I would welcome any assistance with writing the content. I would like to make sure to include any negative stuff that the b0rg hide from people, such as the molestation scandals, the UN thing, the changes in doctrines over the years. Unfortunately, I can't do it justice by myself. I left the b0rg almost 20 yrs ago and am not up on the recent scandals. If anyone is interested in helping, PM me with your email address. Thanks
Could we legaly put those on their windshields during a meeting?
I think this would depend on your local/town laws. You might need a permit or something. -

I've had this bobbing around in my head for a while, thought I'd mention it now.
I haven't read any of the posts in this thread because I'm in a hurry, so sorry if this doesn't apply (I did read the first and the LambsRoar.org mention - Thanks :) )
Anyway, I had considered putting together a quarterly magazine, or tabloid (quarterly because I can't afford more than that). I'll flip the bill for the printing of 15-20,000 (or if you did a signature size [8.5x11 4 page] you can double that]
The pages would be 11x17 (4 page).
The tab would include various writings of posters here, and I thought maybe each addition would include a page or two from CoC, with permission of course and an order form to purchase the full book.
The tabs can be delivered at convenient stores, grocery stores, dr's offices, and the like, they'll all take them since they're free.
If anyone is interested, we can get started on it right away. We'd need a volunteer editor, typesetter/graphic artist, proof readers, writers, and distributors.
I own the web press, but the paper, plates, ink, etc will still run around 3-400.00 (which I will cover quarterly). Mailing the papers to various distributors will be quite expensive as well, so I propose that any volunteers for distribution commit to a contribution for postage and such. If we wanted to go more often than quarterly, more donations would be in order. (Or if we wanted 4 color)
Again, I didn't have time to read the entire thread, so perhaps I'm way off the mark here.
If anyone is interested in my help, let me know: [email protected]

Eh how cool would it be to have a bunch of flyers fall from the rafters during the keynote address..bwahahah
A little manna from above never hurt the pre-christian Jews but its doubtful the anti-christian ones would really appreciate it.

Mailing to the the witness home itself would be much more effective.

Tell you what - a good 'flier' could be posted during the Memorial next month - just need to produce a 'leaflet'' - I am willing to print off and distribute :)

Yeah, now were fine tuning this thing.Having a flyer or periodical with specific points for them to research is a great idea.Of course we could still have the web addy on there to find out more. The only thing is how to get it done in each ones local vicinity while still having it printed at one location.
Are there any computer gurus out there that know how to get E mail addys or other info on jw whereabouts?

As tempting as that sounds , I think it best to wait til they come to your door and offer some info
Yeah, act the part of a sincere, interested householder. Say, "This is such an interesting coincidence! I just stumbled upon a fascinating website yesterday about Jehovah's Witnesses, and lo and behold here you are. I have so many questions from what I saw on the website, would you mind taking a few minutes of your time to help answer them?" What are they going to say? If they insist that they can't have anything to deal with what people say about them online, tell them how strange that sounds and say that you'd like then to set the record straight. It would be really awkward for them to just turn and go. Then invite them in and go to the specific websites (like the UN/NGO one, or Quotes), and ask them to explain how this could be?

hmmmm, tweaking this a little... how about mailing it to members who are at "odds" with the congregation.. maybe families who have DF or DA realtives, or someone you might know that's a free-thinker or liberal minded for a JW. I like the idea of a periodical. actually, you could "test market" this by selecting one or two congregations, emplementing a program and evaluating the results.... just a thought
