No - I do not revere Simon and Minimus - Blondie possibly -those that post a lot are obviously better known on the board - however Angahard does not post a lot and she is not even Supreme Being status - but as she is teh wife of the owner of this Baord then she could be likened to Ted Jaracz I suppose in the hierarchy
The posting levels and notations on an individual's post/profile are very reminiscent(sp) of Governing Body, District Overseer, Circuit Overseer, Elder, Servant, Special Pioneer, Pioneer, Auxiliary Pioneer, etc.........etc..........etc............
I beg to differ. Every forum I know has different poster levels. As a matter of fact, I run a poetry forum on the web. Giving 'levels' to posters is not an option, it gets done automatically. You can change the name of the levels, but you can't avoid having levels. I don't know if this is the case here.. just wanted to mention that the level thing is often part of the forum one runs.

As Fairchild says, poster levels are a standard thing on most discussion forums, I think your reading way too much into it
As long as I don't get counseled for lagging behind the rest, I'm fine with being one of the little guys.

THis isn't the only message board I am a part of... every other board has ranks too.
One gave you stars, when you posted a thousand, you got 1 star, and after 4,000 posts you got stuck with 4 stars, no more to be had.
Another board just displays your number of posts... there is a woman with over 21,000 posts on that board and she is THE authority on the subject (of that board)
I don't think it amouts to a hill of beans, other than to know who the regulars are. I've only been around a couple months and could care less what my rank or anyone's elses is... it's COMPUTER GENERATED!!!
