ok whe wanted the radi to listen to WBBR, the WT radio stations

hey the man saved 60 bucks that was a LOT of money at that time.

At that time most married couple stayed maried till the end, but i am under the impression that jw probablly have a lower divorce rate, than non jw, the lower divorce rate i think may apply to very religious married couples. If married persons have a "decent" common ground they stay married.

I see them as being superb examples for many, many other people, Jws included! 75 years married!!! Wow! - even I come over with a nice warm glow. Good for them!

This is a story about love between a man and a woman . . .kinda' what life is supposed to be about.

Gives me hope for the future. I only wish I could get 75 years with my guy, but I met him a little later in life.

This was a truly wonderful story.

Exactly - it's a lovely story. The fact that the couple are JWs is irrelevant.

They're in their 90's, been married for 75 years, and they're happy. I don't care if they're JW's or not.

I second that. What a blessing.

    Good for them.

The organization really has changed a lot since the old days, I think. It does work for some people.

Of course, we don't know how they really feel about things, either...

I agree. I think the story is adorable no matter what they credit the longevity of their marriage to. If they wren't JWs they would credit it to something.

"We?ve been loyal to each other, and that?s a very, very important trait," said Crystal, 91. "My husband has been very kind and has always treated me with respect."

The real key ... guys, that's really all there is to it. You can find justification to treat anyone unkindly or without respect, this man is a model for us husbands if after so long his wife says this of him. In my opinion, anyway.

To be negative at this story would be much to much work / troubles.

It's just a very warm human story - they have a wonderfull marriage. I think they would have the same kind of marriage once they were Catholic or what ever religion. They're just fine people.
