I have had over twenty general anth. operations and I can tell you that I never ever once got sick from the GA. It is true that some do get ill afterward , but not that many.

No all kidding aside I am sure that it will be a breeze and yes indeed if you can get Local Ant. then go for it. But I suspect by what youv'e said they are going to have to do some nerve repairs. So maybe that is why the GA wants to knock you out.. couldn't resist that.

I went to the GP and he asked me if I wanted to go private health or National Health. I said NHS!! I'm a poor nurse, I can't afford Private!! So he said he'd send the referal off (yesterday)........ knowing how long the NHS takes , I'll probably have a finger like ET's before anything is done!
