Ugly to me is in the attitude and personality of a person...in which case I'd say no. They deserve what they get.

I believe that some that are not very attractive will not have self esteem, and simply do to that will not achieve much in life, because they feel that they are not worthy.
I also firmly believe that to an extent, "good looking" people will have an easier time socially and finacially.

yes.. i'm ugly, i have a beak for a nose, scrawny legs, big feet and a big fat ass i try to camoflauge in feathers.
but really i'm normal like any of you, i eat bugs, run quickly from confused coyotes and dance when i'm horny.
i hope you'll continue to associate with me now that you know i'm ugly.
