I just refuse to be a victim of the Governing Body.

Speak to all the 'in good standing' JWs, especially in public places so the whole world can see what the 'Truth' is all about.

It's great to live in a small town where everyone knows the Jws. Makes for some pretty good territory to witness about Christ instead of some screwed up idea about Paradise the Governing Body fantasized in their demented minds after one of the dubs shuns you in front of others.

If they are saying no longer one of JWs it could mean just a person of the nations. We still talk to people of the nations. I really think we will have to wait til we get a letter, which i will post imediately, or til the KM schools in Oct-Dec, or the CO will give us some verbal direction. The wording is just too ambiguous right now.

I just see it as a self destructive move to DA inactive people. I really think that would implode the org faster than anything. Ofcourse they could be that stupid and if they are, well great. No more org as we know it.

We can always hope I don't think at the local level there will be much enthusiasm for this idea of DF'ing the inactives. It's hard to second guess this. The trend has been to get meaner but maybe a more conservative viewpoint is coming out and the tide is turning. In either event I see them hurting,bleeding and loosing a lot of their flock. No downside there.

In spite of all the talk about sheep remember that in the end the sheep were fleeced and then eaten. That seems to describe the WT and their policies.

Have a bunch of 'Cease & Desist' notices printed up and ready. Send one to each elder in your cong' by Recorded Delivery (signature on receipt). Tell your elders that you WILL pursue them through all legal means available, not the Society, THEM!

Not only the WT tell jw to limit contact with "people of the nations", but one JW who they consider no longer one JW is a diffeent story, it is like they have repudiated, so if no "longer one of us he/she is against us", by becoming inactive he has rejected the teachings etc etc

min, I don't think it would work effectively. When we got baptised we (by our action: getting baptised) we agreed to their rules. You know how they are..."We are right and you are wrong". We are at a disadvantage with them. We have to play by their rules. Yes, we can avoid them and their questions, we can confront them. But in the end whatever decision they make is what we have to live with. This is what we agreed to when we got baptised.

The Witnesses are very stupid people. By shunning me, that took away their own ability to control me. Once I had nothing else important to me to loose to them I became public and vocal. I gave two interviews to two newspaper reporters who contacted me after I had been running an ad in two local papers for some months advertising a recorded message hot line.

I helped organize a public forum to allow the Witnesses opportunity to answer questions about their behaviors like shunning. Several elders were invited by registered mail. None showed up. But the reporters showed up and victims of the Witness people showed up.

A TV news magazine interview resulted from the newspaper articles. The Witness people run like chicken house weasels from open honest confrontation. I have absolutely no respect for them whatsoever.

This is the truth. As long as they only threaten you with their"big stick" they have a certain amount of power over you. Once they begin to beat you with it the power shifts to you.

I often thought that if I was faced with a JC instead of just being a quiet fader I would lay it on the line for them.

BACKOFF...or you are going to see me in front of your KH and any others in the area with a big sign.

I would urge them to contact the lawyers that run the WT now for advice before they proceed with any DF'ing.
