The idea the CO was a good enough actor to pull it off would make me very concerned. Maybe I missed it, well I never really did actually READ the bible, but where did Jesus say "PSYCH!" in order to prove a point? Oh, well. It won't be the first time those people were lied to from that platform and it won't be the last. The problem is, they are lied to every time they go.

i remember something similar being said in a talk once. i didnt believe a word of it, so the only thing that came to mind was, "what a tosser".
I can't say for sure if I recall a similar account but the story you tell seems to ring a bell. Although I do know that DO's and CO's are famous for passing around JW urban myths as if they were gospel truths.

Lying...plain and simple. I don't care if it was meant to put across a "point". It was still lying. That kind of crap really burns me up.
