    Simon,

Oh poo! You didn't include evolution, as that was the ticket for me.

I started to put scientific info, but then it was about the flood.

    Oh well, now you know.

Sorry patio ... I'm going to have to start having a poll on what questions people would like to see in a poll aren't I ?!

I'd put use the science/flood heading to include that.

How about a poll on whether people would like a poll on what questions people would like to see in a poll?

None of them quite fit for me. I checked information about Russell, Rutherford, but was what Russell, Rutherford wrote.

Good idea and good work, Simon! Other interesting questions would be "did you have doubts when you were still in, and for how long, and when did you stop pushing them aside?".

I'd like to suggest that you aggregate all those science related questions into one (such as "weird views on science" or "dishonest pseudo-scholarship" or something along those lines), and add a final option "other reasons" to find out whether an important point is missing. There shouldn't be more than about 7..9 options, as a rule of thumb.

    Good job Simon!

Is it possible to have an 'other' section, with space to write your own in??

Am I expecting way too much?, I have no idea!!

    First doubt:

Sitting behind a girl from the outcast-but-'spiritual' family during the memorial. I noticed dandruff on her grey coat, against the grey! And I was thinking, are all the girls in my life going to be like this.

YOu guessed, I later discovered she fancied me. But there's a happy ending. She found a postman on her pioneering ministry, kept knocking until she was DFd, and married him.

I picked behavior. Interesting that it is current number 1. I would go further and say behavior of JW's in general is what made me doubt.

I got sick of the, "well, the brothers are imperfect excuse", well, heck that goes for anyone in any religion or belief system.

If you're gonna declare yourself the truth, you had better be prepared to really be different, not just holler you are different from every mountain top.

    hugs
