Zaphod, I have heard that Crisis of Conscience is a FANTASTIC book to help those who still have a hard time 'deprogram' the JW teachings from their minds. I plan on getting it very soon and reading up. If you haven't already, it may be a good idea to purchase a copy yourself. It may help.

The bigger follow up book (in search of Christian freedom) is also wonderful.
I've never been a JW, but my best freind is due to be baptised soon after a life without religion. That's why I'm on here, so one day I might be able to help him, & is kids. My kids are 15 and 11, and I tell them bits of the truth about the truth when they ask questions like how come uncle **** doesn't like xmas or birthdays anymore etc.
