As to this being a site for recovering JW's. I am sot sure what you mean by that. The site appears to be very JW to me.

We are very JW here, Kingdoman. Many of us have family and friends who are still trapped in the Watch Tower cult. We use this site to help JW's see the truth about the JW religion so they can decide if they want to remain in a cult separated from God or if they want to take the plunge and exit.

Most of the people here are recovering from various abuses inflicted by the WTS amongst other things. The LAST thing they need is for people to spam their beliefs at them. They are confused and have been misled , they need proper support not more religion. When I left the JWs, fortunately I was not associated for long, I was confused and got misled by an idiot who claimed to know the truth. People like you make me sick, coming here and preying on the weak to convert them to your religion. THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE ESCAPING FROM.

I came to this site with a heart for God. I saw the name of the site and against the wishes of my family I decided that I was going to do some ?New World Translation? burning. If I have been mistaken by the intention of this forum I apologize, but please hear my story.

I have in recent months been called by my Father God to research various cults that are operating in the world today, This has included the following.

Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society
Church of Jesus Christ and the Later Day Saints
Seven Day Adventist
Roman Catholics
Islam
Church of Christ, Scientists

What I have been finding has been shocking, and the two that stand out the most as the greatest evils are the JW?s and The Catholics. I am not here to try convert people to my religion but rather on a compulsion that something has to be done. I do believe that even though you are a recovering JW forum that you all defend the JW?s and the Bible states that if you are not for God then you are against him. I have not once made up any thing about the JW?s but rather have worked off fact (greatly researched) and that has seemed to offend you all greatly. I also have to say that the only way to get away from a cult is to repent your sins, and receive the atonement offered by God through his son Jesus Christ.

In my now post-jw life, I try to live, let live and not be too dogmatic about much. But my tolerance for religion in general is taking a beating....fueled in large part by the jw-like way a lot of people try and shove their beliefs on others.

Most of us have "been there, done that, and bought the tshirt." Whether u realize it or not, that brand of dogmatism and the tone you present it with is a real turn-off for many here.

I never thought I would say this, but "organized religion" is starting to make me sick.
