  I'm sorry, kman, but sincere though you may be, you come off sounding nuttier than a fruitcake and just as much a member of a cult as any of those religions you have listed.

  Frankly, it was distaste for wild-eyed evangelicals with fire and brimstone oozing from every pore that caused me to listen to the sweet, soft-spoken, rather intelligent (however misguided) JW sister that came to my door so many years ago. While I no longer believe that Jehovah's Witnesses have "the truth", I still find her calm, reasonable approach much more appealing than your's.

  Just because you believe something, and repeat it over and over again ad nauseum, doesn't make it so...as most of us here have already discovered at great cost.

  I appreciate all the time and effort you have troubled yourself to go to for the sake of strangers. That indicates some very important character traits that I highly esteem. As I understand it, you have taken pains to research deeply details that damn other faiths as cults. Most posters here agree that JWs are a cult. A very dangerous and destructive cult.

  From the tone of your posts, I gather you have not spent very much time at all learning how to help victims of cults overcome the lingering insecurities and discomforts associated with having been under the excessive control of a cult. I gather this because your approach is diametrically opposite of the one recommended by those who have had success in helping cult members grow to a point of enjoying rewarding and independent lives.

  For that, I am very glad you stopped here before you do real damage to some devout JW by driving them further into the cult's "protective" arms. I admire your objectives, your methods are grossly wanting. You already know for certain that these organizations are cults. The trick is convincing the victims. Most here already know JWs are a cult. If you expect to truly render aid by helping others escape, start by learning what it is that actually helps.

  I assume your goal goes beyond propagandizing for Jesus. I assume that, like Paul on Mars Hill, you hope to win hearts away from these cults. Try taking a lesson from his approach. (Acts 17) I hope you will take this counsel in the spirit in which it is offered and find no malice in it.

  No one said you were being confrontational. That's not the issue and that's also a typical tactic of cult members. Instead of addressing what has actually been challenged - let's talk about something else entirely. I think it's called a red herring??? (Help me out board.) But- I would invite you stick around and read a lot more. There is really some good information and some very smart people on this board.

  What w all your 'research' you seem terribly lacking in fact and understanding, both of charles taze russel and of this site. Abaddon asked you to prove some assertions in your original post. You did not prove one. Instead, you started yelling 'fight'. You simply need to back up what you say. Wnat is so hard about that, seeing as you have all that info and the power of god behind you? Unless you are just another flighty, half baked, brain dead, generic, born again, feel good, uninformed, ignorant, sheep for the slaughter who learned a couple of new things in several days of research.

  What you have on this board are mainly people who were jws at one time. As jws they did a fair bit of studying. Most have continued to study and research, only doing so in a many more fields - science, biblical languages, archeology, history, religion, etc since leaving the wt. They have literally spent yrs doing that. Perhaps you need to go away for several months and research some more, so that you will be able to have a better understanding about what you are talking. Or, you can read stuff on this site that will answer the questions that were posed to you. If you carry on like you started off, you will have a hard time. Just a friendly note.

  I have made my apologies, and they are well meant. He did ask me to back up what I was saying; here are some not to argue but rather to get into the flow of what this forum is all about.

  My Great Grandfather was the Leader of the Grand Lodge of Natal in South Africa. I acquired from my grandmother records that Name CT Russell as an active member of the York Rite Templar at the time of the founding of the Watchtower. I can not produce these documents as it went to my grans brother who also is a mason on her death (sorry) but can say that I say the member list with my own eyes.

  I also have picked up on a few things like Russells bloodline (relations to satanic figures such as Atley,) I am still in the prossess of researching this and will not offer evidence at this time.

  It is general knowledge that Masons on the higher levels are satanic, and yes my brother there is such a thing as satin. This is confirmed throughout the bible and is the major belief of all religions in the world, not believing in satin is left of info from WTS propaganda that there is no hell because of CT Russells fear of the place.

  and in fact The Watcher Towers once held the name of The order of the Golden Dawn and the Rosy coloured Cross. (Or something along those lines)

  None of this I can give absolute proof, but there are a lot of signs pointing to it. What I put in ?witness cult? is true and researched.
