I bought some Stevia to try it out and it was the bitterest thing I ever had...way worse than Saccherin.

There's a woman in my town who very obviously dyes her hair- she's got 4 inches of grey, followed by 8 inches of reddish brown, with very clear demarcation. The thing is, she's always got those 4 inches of grey, and I've been observing her for nearly 6 years. I would have thought the grey would have gotten longer by now, or she'd have dyed it away, but it never changes. How, and more importantly why, does she do this?

Terry: why do you use underscores in some of your replies?

    example: "text_______ text text ______"

    I'm glad you asked!

What we say is often not nearly as important as how we say it.

In common everyday conversation we detect the subtext of meaning from how words are spaced and emphasized and articulated.

If I can create a sense of space_______between______words I am simulating the pause and isolation of key words for effect.

Has someone online ever taken something you said in a completely wrong way just on the words themselves and missed the intention and meaning altogether?

That is how emoticons became necessary

    I don't often use emoticons.

    Why?

I've invented my own way of writing out what I say using the size

and outlining or______space______to tell the tale vividly (or: emphatically.)

    See?

Depends, obviously, on which end the grey is on, doesn't it?

Terry, the grey is up top, coming out of her scalp. Weird, huh?

How are you women able to go soooooooooooooo long without sex? I mean--even married women. It is like you can live with or without it; no big deal. Men, on the other hand (if they had their druthers) would be like the clock in the hall; chiming every half hour! Just thought I'd ask.

Well that all depends on who is our sex Partner! If he isn't good then why have it? Maybe that should be your answer or maybe something you need to work on.

Then, her actual hair color isn't the issue. It has to be your sense of time

    Fair enough.

    But, I'm a "ladies-go-first" kind of fellow.

I don't do my thang until your thang is done.

    Go figure.

    Is that really knowable?

    Can you clarify that?

    Thanks,
