    Hi susu;

    Welcome to the board! Yes, it can be devasting to be DF'd as those turkeys have made us feel as though we're the spiritual equivalent of Adolf Hitler, but have no fear---you won't be judged on this board!! You'll find it a comfort to be able to talk to others about your experiences in the Organization, how family members react, or just join in plain old fashion discussions. You'll find good advice and good people here......oh and you won't have to count "time" on a Service Report for all the posts you do here.

    Welcome susu. I almost hit reply as soon as I read your first post, but then I read on and am glad I didn't jump the gun:

    still the most embarassing situation in my LIFE

    I was going to ask if you were df'd for "immorality" because most women would probably feel embarassed when questioned by three men in a private setting about the most detailed and intimate moments that you spent in the bedroom. Let me guess, did they ask specific questions about orgasms, how many, how long, etc? I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of them had their hand deep down in their pocket playing pool...

    I still figure that three men who hardly knew me had no right to make judgments implying that my spirituality was somehow defective.

    Susu,

    Hope your fear drops away, we really are not scary to anyone but the Watchtower Society. Read everything you can on here. Get the book "Crisis of Conscious" by Raymond Franz. He was a member of the Governing Body, and his book explains so much of what your experiencing. Just think there are as many ex-witnesses as there are active witness. That is a lot.

    I'm 54 and spent 30 years as a JW, yes raised my children as faithful little witnesses. I had a son to die as a result of an accident and blood refusal to save him. When I was disfellowshipped, my two sons essentially left with me. Now only their Dad stayed in it. I divorced my husband of 30 years and have remarried more happily. My sons and I are more happy now then all the years we spent as witnesses. My boys are 21 and 17. Hope you find comfort here, and come to see the benefits of being out of the JW's.

    Welcome SUSU!!!! You have e-mail.

    In time to come you will be so happy that they gave you the left foot of fellowship. I am the oldie on board ---was a JW for 25 yrs. Made 10 people JW.... I was DF because I admitted I dont think Jesus came invisably in 1914- I wanted to die when they lowered the boom.But then I found out they had lied in so many ways. Read Deut 18:20-22- saw all the false prophesy they had made in HIS name --so knew I did not have to be afraid anymore- since then I speak in Churches telling the people how I LOVE JWs ..& how they can help them do as GOD told us to do. EXAMINE!!!! CHECK out the man you are following .... Russell, Rutherford, Franz( FRED) not Raymond-I checked him out he is knowing what your feeling also...I have had a support group here in Canada for over 15 years 700 have used it. All happy to find they are not alone. But I must add Jesus is the one I now follow- Other on this board will disagree with me -but that is allowed on this WONDERFUL site -we can THINK independently & still love & respect each other Welcome & God bless!

    Been there, done that, brought back the T-shirt. That can make you feel so violated. Susu, welcome. I am not DF'd, but privately reproved. My mom kicked me out of the house about a month ago and I haven't looked back. You must feel so crushed right now, so low. But you picked the right place to come to for REAL encouragement. If you ever need someone to talk to, please feel free to PM me. I'd be more than happy to exchange e-mail addresses.

    Welcome Susu, as time passes and the real character of the Watchtower Society, inevitably, gets increasingly exposed more and more people turn away from it, even the young kids that grew up as JWs are leaving in droves. After their admission, however artful, about the error on the 1914 generation thing, their sails lost a lot of wind.Soon only the totally naive will be staying there.

    There are now in the world more ex JWs than JWs,and here on this board you will find a lot of support from great individuals.You can also find lots of good web sites with revealing info about the WTS on the internet using a search engine.

    Welcome SuSu, your whole life is now ahead of you. You had a conscience, tried to do what was right, and got the bad end of the deal. It really sucks. I know, all the kids in the cong are doing the same thing, but only one or two will get the big DFing. It's terrible. But as others have said, you'll find out it's actually a huge benefit to you, you have a jump start on seeing the world for what it really is: nothing to be afraid of.
