I think you have lost your mind.
Would it occur to you that their might be some middle ground.]
Women have a right to choose whether they want a home and/or family to be their main focus.
Also the "consecrated" status of woman is manspeak for barefoot and pregnant.

mmm...can't say I agree with the writer. Although, I'm not against burkas people can where them if they want to...but it's about choice.
I don't think the family was ruined because of a new found ideal women came up with. Strong families survive and don't need any stereotypical roles to keep going. Not all women are nurturing and shouldn't be mothers whether they wear a burka or not. That's the point the writer misses. -

the burka represents a woman's consecration to her husband and family. Only they see her.
in other words: she is their property....
In my opinion, the burka and what it represents is despicable.
I don't advertise the American Beauty in bikini - shown on TV either - but I prefer the bikini over the burka.

Click on the link at the bottom of the article marked - A long way to go for a date. It shows the wife of the author. He is 48, she looks about 18, and he had to go to the fillipeans to find her.
