Well, first because I was an exhaust technician for a long time. It's something I'm proud of, being able to custom bend exhaust pipe so I decided on Bendrr. Plus I like the robot from the show 'Futurama'.
The spelling was just a custom bend.

When I first started going to message boards (mostly military/history/political)a few years a ago I just used my real name.
My nic is pretty much JUST a nic, but it fits because I DJ p/t in a bar and many times I must go to get heavy draft kegs for the barmaids when they run out.

Mine was given me by a workmate who is famous for giving nicknames to people. It basically was meant to mean "You Doofball".
