You've got it about right. Blondie correctly added the destruction of Babylon the Great (those of us in Christendom) before Satan attempts his final attack on the WTBTS.
I know more than a few JW's who are eagerly waiting for Christendom to get their own back.
I also have an addition to the activities of the JW's in paradise. Everyone gets to sit around and read the scrolls to STUDY MORE in the new system. Won't that be fun?
If you are not a JW in good standing, you will soon be destroyed at Armageddon, however, it is not our place to judge who will survive or be destroyed at Armageddon, only Jehover can do that.
You are saying dubs explanation of the sequence of events doesn't jive with Revelation?
Exactly. The dubs say the "new earth" will arrive right after the Big A, at the beginning of the milennium. They cite the "new heaven and new earth" passage in Rev 21 to support this. But the problem is that the "new heavens and new earth" in Rev 21 clearly come AFTER the millenium of chapter 20. Remember there were no verses or chapters in John's original text. There was no break between the chapters. John is very clearly describing a sequence of events (20:7-21:4):
When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
They also say that the "general resurrection" will occur during the milennium, so mankind can go through a 2nd chance under dub rulership culminating in the "final" judgement before the throne at the end of the 1000 years. This is a clear contradiction of Rev 20:5, which shows that they are not even resurrected until after the 1000 years. It is clear that it is a resurrection straight to final judgement. No 2nd chance or "trial period" is implied.
I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
(Speculation: selected humans will go to populate the rest of the universe...just kidding)
I used to consider that when I was a believer.
Where would all of these resurrected people live? Earth is only so big.
wow..well i grew up studying the religeon...my mother was never baptized and we eventually stopped studying...but i allways believed in it ...as far as the world ending at 1914 i thaught that was when god cast the devil and his demons to earth...obviuosly it didnt end yet! i know jw religeon is very strict...but if you read the bible god is strict!lol so i guess thats why i beleive in it so much b/c other religeons go to church once a week and sin the rest of it!then repent every sunday...im not baptized and i havnt been studying for years ...and im only 21 but i do beleive in it 100% and i hate it when people call it a cult they are just strict in their beliefs thats all!!!!

other religeons go to church once a week and sin the rest of it!then repent every sunday
This is a logical fallacy known as a "hasty generalization". It is likely that some do, however you couldn't possibly know, unless you researched all 3000+ known or unknown religions, whether or not this is a true statement. Keep this fallacy in mind next time you here jws telling you how all other religions "don't follow the Bible". Furthermore, your statement implies unlike members of other religions, JW members do not sin between services? Are you saying that every member of every church is less debout and serious about their faith in Jehovah? That is quite an assumption indeed.
You might be surprised to find there are some churches with teachings nearly identical to the jw on God, Jesus, the trinity, the immortal soul, and whether or not hell is really hot. The Restored Church of God (www.thercg.org) even rejects blood transfusions. Some, like the Christadelphians, were teaching the exact same things when Jesus was making his examination in 1919. Why did he choose the jw then?

i hate it when people call it a cult
Yes that is not a very considerate or Christian thing to say to people. Nobody likes to have their deeply held beleifs held in contempt. Even worse, is when a person presumes that somebody must be bad or dishonest if they don't agree with what we think the Bible means on something.
For instance, I get really irritated when some people are so sure that they have "the truth", that they act like I must be some kind of jerk because I don't agree with them.
I am always very careful not to do that, because I am a Christian. I always try not to do things to people, that I wouldn't want done to me.
Do you think that is a good idea?
no im not saying in any way that jws dont sin..everyone does but i have seen with my own eys more devotion towards god in the jw religoen than in others...by others i mean the main ones not 3000 + lol i know thers alot of religeons out there...my point is i have went to other churches and right after they r cursing and fornicating and just making a joke of god ...now i also know their are some wittneses that do the same but to me no where near as much!but i also beleive god is the one who will judge us..and no not every wittness is good he knows that already b/c he knows everything!
