Is it just me, or do j-dubs have "crazy eyes"?

Have you ever noticed someone who has a 1000 yard (meters for you English types) stare, or just kind of "crazy eyes"? Kind of like that runaway bride lady that was in the news lately, like they are in a trance, deer in the headlights, or something? Well I keep noticing that dub women in particular have this creepy 1000 yard stare. And then a while after my wife got dunked she and the kids got in one of those picture booths. The picture came out, and she had those same damn crazy eyes! I even pointed them out to her. She agreed and we laughed about it. I guess what made me think about it, is I spent the weekend talking to a dub lady who has the 1000 yard stare ALL the time. So have you guys noticed that? It's funny you mentioned that. I remember showing my girlfriend my sister's highschool yearbook to see if she knew my sister. She pointed out how different my sister's eyes were compared to the other kids, that they had a 'blank' look about her eyes. She went on to explain to me how people who were involved in cults looked like that. Weird.

Of all the congregations where I've attended, I can recall perhaps 1 or 2 with that kind of 'pop-eyed' look about them.

Nothing to do with being a JW, though.

If what you are talking about is that dull vacant look. yes I've seen it. I have also seen that look of a shark from elders wives as they watch people chat after the meetings.

How about in pictures then? I think that is where I notice it the most. Then some just have it all the time.

I think the look witnesses get is more doll-like. I call it the doll-like stare.

Yeah, I think you get what I am talking about.

Ok, not quite Ted Bundy because his is sinister, and not quite the Heaven's Gate dude (how much visine does that guy go through!!!). Maybe about a notch below the runaway bride lady.

But seriously! I have pictures of dubs, in my house, where they look like that! And I can think of two off the top of my head that look like that all the time.

I don't think they are like this physically but they are in that way psychologically, they want to observe and control everything.

I noticed it over 25 years ago. But I thought it was so they wouldn't miss any opportunity to run and tattle. The ones that are fanatical--they have them too.Maybe they are demonized, or spent too much time chasing smurfs!
