Richard. Do not contact me again. YOU are unethical, misleading, underhanded and trying to exploit a support forum and those who might be vulnerable to your ruse.

odrade, you're not talking about me, i hope?

No one here wants to benefit from anything deriving from the jws because for them this org is so associated with strong negative feelings.

Why would there being good things matter considering the abuse they hand out.

    Talking about a serial murderer:

I can't understand it; he was so nice to his family and worked for Habitat for Humanity.

    Talking about a thief:

I know he stole but he donated some of it to charities.

    Talking about an pedophile:

I know he raped his daughter, but he was nice to all the other children buying them gifts.

I don't know if being in the society gives you the edge for an online business any more than someone who wasn't. Personally I don't agree.

But one good thing I can comment on is that because I did pay attention at the halls, I found paying attention at school pretty easy & never used to study for exams & I still passed pretty well.

    Welcome Do I Stand Alone,

However, the impression I am getting is that no one is really understanding what I am getting at.

reading your past threads struck a nerve on the JWD. everyone is entitle to their own opinion and

I really don't know what your selling but the only person you can change is yourself.

One thing I learned from my years as a JW was how effective it is to say... "We're not interested." and "We don't want any." (that one was always my favorite!).

Do I stand alone looks a little bit desperate with this next plea for gullible ex-JWs. How sad. He might have complimented us on how well trained we are now, and how computer savvy! but I guess flattery gets you nowhere, huh. The only thing I'm hearing here is Do I Stand Alone figures if we fell for the Watchtower scam, we're a bunch of gullible idiots who will line up to give him our money.

We don't want any. You do stand alone.

Welcome Do I Stand Alone, please stay.

I see a lot of positivity on this board, but frankly I find very few positives about the JW organisation. Those I genuinely thought existed have disolved one by one the more factual & historic material I read.

Please feel free to list some positives to help skeptics like me. One that I can think of is the many wonderful individuals who are JWs. I can find no positives about the leadership. Please try to persuade me of some.

I really like how young children learn to read and give parts from the platform. By the time they start school, some already know how to read and write quite well for their age.

So many children of Hispanic roots forget their language or don't learn it properly because they lack the necessary communication in that language.

Due to the constant exposure with the 5 meetings, and the participation that is expected of these young ones, they learn to read/write/speak Spanish perfectly. It's awesome to see, really!
