They should really make sure that people know that this is an ex-JW message board. I am a Catholic Apologetist and I attempt to discredit cults such as the JW's, Mormons, and Moonies whenever possible, because they are just that... cults. I find it heart-warming that you people left that horrible organisation.

Yes, they are cults...but it should be mentioned that your Catholic church also started out as a cult once upon a time, a little less than 2000 years ago. And well, with your teachings of hellfire and angels and demons and infallibility of the pope, and the ongoing sexual abuse of altar boys by catholic priests, I hope you find that JW message board you`re looking for real soon, you`ll suit each other just fine. I consider Catholicism a cult as well. With these JW's, all you have to do is disassociate yourself and you will no longer be regarded as a member. Since I was involuntarily baptized a Catholic as a baby, it's impossible to get my name off their stupid rolls even though I despise the religion today. Talk about cultish control!
But don't mind me, I'm very cynical about most religions.
