I read most or all your stuff because you make sense in a comical way, which is way more than I can say for the Awake, which is getting Dumber and Dumber.
These writers for the Awake got to be a$$holes to right the the kind of $hit they write. I would think that they no longer must do thier writting with a sense of pride, and look at thier job as a depressing occupation.

Awake is only as smart as its dumbest reader.
Well what do you expect of writers who never went to college for that evil worldly education?
It just occured to me as another reason the awake and other publications are getting dumber and dumber is:
1) The Governing Body is getting older and grouchier, and feel very threatened by any one who is smarter than they are, I bet the whole writing department knows that if any one or goup of writers makes a really good and well liked article, that the persons responsible for that article comes under the GB's radar as a very likely candidate for apostacy. So each writer purposely dumbs down what ever he does because he afraid of the repercussions he might face. (This could be done consciously or unconsciously)
2) The Governing Body may have complained about different ones in the writing department at times, and have even had to meet with a few GBs were they started to question them and so now they can't write good stuff because they have to cater too closely to what 3 or 4 GBs say and that drives them nuts and so all they can put out is drival under such stress.
3) The writers have all gotten very used to what a senial Governing Body wants written and so they just conform no matter how dumb it reads.
I don't know how many ways I can basically say the same thing.

Another reason could be that all the writers are on meds for depression and have a hard time concentrating, so they write like a 7 year old, who's afraid of the boggie man(satan or jehovah take your pick).
I suppose when it goes from bimonthly to monthly we will see an even further dumbing down.
Maybe the GB only want those that have the intelligence of a second grader to cut down on apostacy in the congregations and so they only want dumbed down publications to appeal to that target audience, causeing the smarter ones to be turned off by reading the Awake, thus avoiding bigger problems in the future?

YUP! This way, they'll only have to work half as hard to appear smart!
