I believe we will just have to wait and see instead of putting a date for everything. God will let his people know what is going on like he always does.

Just make sure you know who god is talking to. Personally, I prefer to wait till I hear voices myself, in the meantime I believe to be on my own as far as understanding goes.

What i dont understand is why some of you take out your frustrations on God.

I'd say tha being in the org confirmed my suspicions that there is no God. If he were real, I highly doubt that he'd allow so many evils to take place in his name. Being a JW was simply the nail in the coffin. They helped me to free myself from the constraints of Christianity, and for that I'm grateful.

As far as the 4th goes, I love living in this country! Compared to most, we're all stinking rich. Our government is far from perfect, but our founding fathers were geniuses and we're reaping the benefits. I have no problem paying homage to our nation. In conclusion:

If I've read the bible correctly, John the Baptist wasn't a publisher either. Neither was Peter, Paul, Mark, Luke, or John. If you're trying to live the life of a Christian and share your faith, where in the bible does it say there has to be a 3 x 5 card with your name on it at a Kingdom Hall?

For myself I choose to be a pagan.It includes many faiths.It is a belief system that reflects the way we interact with the world around us. We honor the Gods and Goddesses. It is an Earth religion that allows each one of us to find our own spiritual path. Our gods want what is best for us, which is more than I can say for your god, who issues orders and if these are not followed, there are threats of doom and gloom.

The WTS takes away self esteem. They look down upon anyone who uses the brain and power of reasoning that we were given. Of their god was directing them, why are they allowed to protect known molesters and those that take advantage of each other?

First of celebrating things are not evil - the bible even says that to one man a day may be holy and to another it may not - but you respect it and let him have his holy day of celebration.

Secondly - I'd encourage you just to stop going to the meetings period. The brothers & sisters will never accept you for you - they want you to be cloned, to change who you essentially are. You still believe in God - God will accept you, quircks and all. Have a personal relationship with him and forget about having a relationship with an organisation .... why

Cos thirdly - salvation is only through the one he sent fouth - his son. He is the door - no one comes to the father except through me. All you have to do is believe.

The faithful and discreet slave is YOU - read those scriptures again and you'll see that they are referring to those that are doing what the lord wants when he returns......and no that's not talking about the preaching work and no he didn't return in 19whatever - the reason no one knows when he returns is because he returns to each of us at different times in our life and as your knowledge grows you actually realise that you were created in a divine image, always have been, always will be - you just strayed a little.

And I'm rambling....
