I would be a non-issue if you weren't a JW. If you are a JW and thinking about using the facilities at the YMCA, you might want to check and see what the "faithful slave" has to say about it in the bound volumes of The Watchtower.
I'm sure if it was a non-issue, they wouldn't have wasted any trees and ink printing and distributing information about that topic.

Those flags symbolize your freedom to even be able to convene at those buildings. Which, by the way, are very much a part of the very wicked world jehovah is supposedly going to destroy at armageddon. They aren't just pieces of cloth. What a self righteous, ignorant statement. But I'm guessing your mask got caught on your lip! LOLOLOL!!!
I must give you props for being honest and not sugarcoating. More of this type of honesty is beneficial for the seekers and lurkers to witness. Dissing flags yet sucking the tits of the world. Bravo brother!!

Oh, I assume that you are very young. When I grew up in JWs, during the late 70s and the 80s, we were told that the UN was the largest and most ungodly organisations on earth, that it actually was (and I can show you the WT where this is said) the Harlot of the Revelation, or the beast with horns (both things were said). These "pieces of cloth" hanging outside the UN-building, were considered the banners of Satan, when I grew up. But you know, time flies by, I assume you are the "new generation", and you don`t know what the WT-publications said 20 years ago. This doctrine has never changed, though. So, why do YOU think it was such an urgent matter for the WT to dissasociate themselves from the UN when this came out?
And for the people working at WT: I assume that the top ten reads thru every article that is about to be published in the new WT or Awake, and I assume they read every book that is about to be published. They take all the important decisions, as they are the ones that are "guided" by Jehovah in all their actions (I can show you at least 3 old WTs that says explicitly that the WT-organisation is Jehovahs PROPHET on earth!!!!!) Anyway, I`m not sure what you`re saying in your second post. Are you saying that it was Jesus` choice to sign the UN-declaration in 1991? Well, if that`s so, why was Jesus and Jehovah so much against it in all the years BEFORE 1991? Why did they (thru the GB, the organisation and the WT magazine) condemn the UN as the Harlot and the beast of the Revelation, the most ungodly and Satanic of all the worlds ungodly organisations? God and Jesus sat down for a chat, and changed their mind? Why would they do that? Oh, and by the way, the picture in my profile is from an old WT-magazine (its small, but if you save it to you comp, perhaps you can enlarge it). It is a picture of the Harlot riding the Beast, and it`s number was 666 ...and in the background is the UN-BUILDING!!!!
Really this parroting of delusional rhetoric has nothing to do with Ram trying to save any of us from destruction, it is a means of reinforcing his own threatened beliefs.
After their disconfirmation, the true believer works even harder to preserve his own faith by repeating those beliefs to others. In his eyes their rejection only serves to prove he is being persecuted by the evil one and therefore right.

You have spewed misinformation and backwards deciet. Let's recap. For decades the Watchtower has held the position that the United Nations (U.N.) is an organization controlled secretely by none other than Satan himself and is the famous "beast" as referred to in the book of Revelation. The Watchtower has insisted that God will destroy the the United Nations at the battle of Armaggedon (however the Watchtower and Jehovah's Witnesses keep falsely setting dates/years with nothing happening thus far). After decades of slamming the U.N. and the Catholic Church who you refer to as the harlot in Revelation (who is, according to JWs "in bed with" the beast - U.N.), the Watchtower joined the U.N. secretely as an "N.G.O." This is more involved than the manner in which you are trying to present in your post. As an N.G.O., the Watchtower agreed to spread good news about the U.N. and help to further the U.N.'s cause. This is the reason that there were so many articles in JW magazines in the 1990s which were pro U.N. Only when their secret came to light about this obvious hypcracy did the Watchtower remove themselves as an N.G.O. - almost after 10 years of being "in bed with" the U.N. secretely. Obviously their behaviour is impossible to reconcile with beliefs which they have been telling all JWs to embrace. This is the reason why so many JWs, like yourself, lie to themselves about what really occurred. Kind of like being an ostrich and putting your head in the sand. Be a man Rimbaldi and stop allowing yourself to be controlled by old farts who mock their own blind followers with dumb lies.
