I change cars often, and a few times I bought a 2 door car, and you should have seen the look on the faces of the witnesses when they saw my 2 door car....
I felt as if I commited a sin. Some would say, didn't you have a 4 door car before, why did you buy a 2 door car? Some would say, it won't be practical in the field service.
I even heard elders and MS, say that a witness who puts the kingdom first doesn't buy a 2 door car....
While struggling to remove their enlarged bottoms and step out OVER the seatbelt they might accidently flash their knickers or bend down too low and expose a bosum!
Can't have the housholder think that middle aged elder's wives are a bunch of shameless hussies!

We had local needs talks about 4-door cars and it was mentioned at every ass-embly. We were told point blank only unspiritual people bought 2-door cars because that meant they were buying it for pleasure with no intention of using it in FS.
How many doors your car had was a status symbol. After kids got their licenses, the dubs waited with baited breath to see what kind of car they bought. If they bought a 2-door car, it was a sign of spiritual weakness and they were brought in the back room to be counseled. If they failed to sell the car, they were marked.
I get that it's easier but are we talking about old and infirm publishers? Do publishers need to make a quick exit from the car if they see a potential convert that might escape? Do witlesses on average have less flexible knees than ordinary people (note to self: check own knees) or is there a secret deal between the org and the motor companies?
first car was a singer chamois coupe...i also had a triumph dolomite..had a few vauxhaul novas..had the obligatory peugeot 205 sport..nissan sunny..renault fuego...and 2 volvo sports cars..at least 5 of them were as an elder...no-one said a thing...except my wife who got fed up having to get out to let others in.. if i was still jw now i would get the renault avantime...or the mazda with the rear doors without handles that are hinged the other way

What is the relation between a 2 doors car or a 4 doors car and the fieldservice or eldership?
The only thing here it is a bit questionable for an elder to buy a big SUV. I can agree a little with that.
