Well, I suppose so, but I think we should start with the macro-universe before we try plummeting the depths of nuclear physics. I know we all long for a comprehensive Unified Field Theory, but there is so much about quantum mechanics that just doesn't seem to behave with or conform to the normal laws of physics.
I'd say let's just play it by ear and see how it works out. I know that some scientists are trying to apply relativity to quantum mechanics. One thing I would be concerned about here is the incredible complexity of the world of the very small, and we do not want to lose everybody in the process of this discusson. That would accomplish nothing.
