By what I've e-heard here in the Forum, I gather a lot of promiscuity and excessive drinking goes on at those apostafests. Therefore, I don't think I'll ever be attending one as I really dislike that life style.

Well, techincally I'm still "undercover". I've been inactive for about 4 years and I've managed to stay under the radar the entire time. Almost all of my family are current, practicing JWs. JWs live on my street, work where I work, I drive by the hall a lot, I see them out and about a lot. I see em quite a bit actually. Despite that I think I have orchestrated a pretty good fade. It's not complete but its enough to live my life as I see fit without have to look around and worry that someone sees me. It's like Blondie says, the elders are too busy (or lazy) with other things to worry about somebody that never comes to the hall anymore. As long as I don't make waves and raise suspicions into my activities, I'm good.

Unless I could pull off a subterfuge I would probably not be able to attend an apostofest. I need more time to complete the fade and become completely forgotten. Maybe some day I can pop into one just to say "HI!".

Would love to meet up with many of you, on a less intense platform with like 100's of folks at a time. Would love to meet up in Atlantic City, or Wildwood NJ for a civilized meeting at the beach with a few handfulls of folx. The love would too intense to hold down a couple hundred of y'all at once
