As soon as there is one somewhere in British Columbia, Canada I'm on the road! Can hardly wait ! It will be the final high-five to my messy, painful escape 30 years ago!
Would You Be Afraid To Go To An "Apostofest"?

Would love to go to one sometime - as a matter of fact have been in private conversation with one of the posters here just today on that subject. We are busy raising our g-kids - are kids allowed. Do these things get wild ? Just curious - no axe to grind - just wondered how these things are? Just like a picnic? Or more adult-oriented than that?

DY, I think you need a good pinching by Valis! Apostafests, at least the ones I've attended and hosted, are fun! We've never had anyone be obnoxious or a problem to themselves or others, and it's just great to meet face-to-face with the people we talk to almost every day on this forum.
The tale about Gumby and the sheep is an urban legend. Honest.

I was a little nervous when people started to come in at the N.E. Apostafest, but after 2 minutes, I just felt like I already knew them all. Before this, I only met Zev and Somebody.
As for drinking, I think I drank more than anybody. . 2 and a half beers.
3, and I fall down, but that's besides the point.
I would do it all over again, in a minute. I had a super time.We all did. Everybody felt comfortable with each other.
