Well, let's see...I know of a number of people that have died in car accidents....however I only knew one personally. I lost two very good friends in the September 11, 2001 destruction of the WTC.

As mentioned previously...the Irish have lived with terrorism for a number of years (ironically in the name of religion as well as politics), I believe terrorism has been affecting people in Isreal, Croatia and Bosnia for a number of years.....I don't think anyone gets used to it....I think we learn to live around it, because if we don't the terrorists win.

No. No I shouldn't be afraid of terrorists. All the worrying I could do wouldn't prevent one from hurting me, if one was going to hurt me. Then, if I worried for years, lived a long life and died from natural causes, all that time spent worrying, would have been wasted.

Worry and fear are painful. Seriously, save them for real threats.

Although I am sure far more people were killed in Northern Ireland than the British Mainland, please don't forget that there were IRA bombings in Manchester, Warrington, London, Brighton........it wasn't confined to Ireland.

I didn't put "extremists", "terrorists", or "sex" in my topic title on the recent announcement by the IRA, so it was ignored.
