If you were 14 when you got baptised I was 20 - so I dont think I was around your neck of the woods.
By that time I had just made my own 'way too young' decision and got married!

Hmmm...memories....I remember telling myself that there was no way I was gonna get dunked at a local assembly. I was the very shy type and I made my family travel to another town so that people I knew wouldn't see me. And I wanted it to be at one of those big (district ?) ones, it seemed like less people were taking notice, there.

Because I'm tall, and the brothers who were in the pool are short, they made me bend my knees so they could dunk me easier. They pushed me down, and dropped me. I had to come up on my own.
