when you say not organic does that mean you strongly suspect an outside consulting firm or am I reading you wrong

Yes, most large organizations find it difficult to make major sweeping changes in short time periods without some outside help.

Internal change tends to be more evolutionary, external change often revolutionary (or rather, if it's revolutionary then it's unlikely internal)

Does the WTS get help from a PR company or Rep-improvement agency?

I dont know the answer but I sure would like to!

Magnum, you make a very good point about how quickly it is happening. That suggests expert help.

I hadnt made the connection between the stern GB of yesteryear (when we heard one of them at all) and the cornball jokey guys at the Regionals this year but that is true.

This is all too much too fast not to be mapped out by somebody.

That makes perfect sense and it fits what we are seeing.

The WTS wouldn't have to look far for professional re-branding companies to do their dirty work for them.

Netholics is a company that does re-branding and it is owned by a JW named Frankie Wellman. (Frankie owns Meekspace)http://www.meekspace.org/

Netholics started up in March 2014.

Amazing find Orphan Crow, Since they were formed in 2014 they either are not the sole source of help, OR they formed a company after helping at Headquarters. This could be significant.

Too many things are happening all at once. It's a well thought out and organized plan. It's outside help I'm sure.

There is absolutely outside consulting taking place.

Given the seniority BS in Bethel, it could only be an outside firm able to make so many changes, so quickly, whether it's a JW PR firm or not.

(BTW J.R. Brown has been the JW media guy for a long, long, time.)

Thanks Millie. Yeah, I found the Frankie connection several months ago. At one time, Meekspace was quite different. He had plans to put up another site called meektube But then, jw..org happened and meektube never really launched.

JW..org launched in August 2014 - the timing of Frankie's media company start up is convenient.

I am wonder to if the WT haven't hired an outside PR company to improve their image as some else pointed out on here that the present GB are not bright enough to figure this out themselves.

It is more than possible that the Advisors who oversaw the re-branding are themselves JW's.

This would make sense to the GB, to use such people, as using a totally "worldly" company would mean no influence by the Holy Spirit in the eyes of the R&F should they ever learn of it.

It is without doubt a professional job, far from amateur.

WT is supposed to be past the age of "type, - antitype", but did not Solomon hire Hiram of Tyre and his crew to do the temple? typically?
