there...i rephrased my opening statement.

big dog, i understand fully why some people would be afraid of pit bulls. as much as i love them, i know better then to approach one that i don't know. but then again, that would go for any dog that i might see. it just gets my panties in a bunch when people jump to conclusions about pit bulls and say things that are not true. i am an avid p.b. lover and have been my entire life. when he said that all pit bulls should be put to sleep, that was someone saying i should kill my baby. i don't appreciate comments like that.

i highly recommend that anyone who feels the same as mkr read Pit Bulls For Dummies. it's an excellent and highly informative book that squashes any myths or fears you may have of the breed. if you don't want to buy it, then go to Barnes and Nobles, get a cup of coffee, and read it.

you are a cop huh? ooooooooo......i'm so impressed.....i hope i don't get in trouble for disrespecting a officer of the law...you are highly ignorant. i never said that pit bulls HAVEN'T attacked people...what i said was that they were never bred to attack people. also, i've said it before and i'll say it again....it is not the dog....it is the owner........i could take a labrador retriever and turn it into a vicious animal if i wanted too....i don't care how many calls you've been on for pitbull attacks. i stand by the breed. i think people like you are more stupid and dangerous than a pit bull.

Well since pitbulls are ONLY vicious when they or their owners are attacked the owner was obviously being attacked by this deadly deadly porcupine!

Yes you can take any breed and make it vicious but some breeds seem to have a natural inclination that way! Chows and Pitbulls lead the curve for human attacks by A WIDE MARGIN! In many cities you can't even get homeowners insurance if you have one of those breeds! Apparently the insurance companies don't have access to your wonderful and fully substanciated research! Perhaps you could call a few of these companies and explain their error? I'm sure they are just waiting for your call!

Hey maybe forward these pictures as evidence of the breeds intellegence and gentle nature?!

ah yes......i see it every day...pit bulls running down the street, attacking random people...ripping the heads off of newborns.
