You will find material on Steven Morales of Chino Hills California on Watchtower Observer. I have some records there. I don't remember if it's court documents as well, but I'm 100% sure there is some newspaper articles about this asshole.

As for some comments in SL's original thread about how appropriate it was that all the DB insiders kept the lawsuit "secret" until it was officially filed- COME ON!!! Does anyone actually think that the WTS hasn't anticipated this civil lawsuit from even before the criminal trial was completed?

Come On??? Who would tell you anything? Those who would doesn't know anything - and the ones knowing, won't tell you.

What we "think" about the WTS knowledge of stuff doesn't matter. Your assessment of the new Berry case isn't just wrong - it's utter foolishness.

Say hello to the old farts for me, will you? I'll write them a letter soon....

I make definitive statements because in my opinion, they are warranted. I work in the 1st federal circuit and am surrounded by judges and lawyers on a daily basis.

As far as posting numbers are concerned, there are two ways you could view the amount of posts and titles under one's belt in this forum:

A person with a grandiose title (hmmm...reminds me of MT23:9) and a high numbers of posts (1000's) might be an avid debater or a wealthy debutante.

Posts are public interchanges of personal communication. An old Swahili proverb says:

    SILENCE IS ALSO SPEECH.

If you are concerned about who I am, ask AlanF. We spoke last Friday and I believe he can dissaude any concerns you might have about my allegiances.

I can vouch that a good friend of mine vouched for UR, in that he's certainly not a WTS troll.

Like everyone else here, UR's opinions are his own.

Thank you Alan. I appreciate your "divine intervention" no pun intended. You're right, we deliver our opinions and seek productive interchanges of ideas, thoughts, concepts and all that is rational, whether concrete or abstract in nature.

I am learning so many new variations on previously held biblical concepts, as well as peering into the human psyche of fellow "comrades" in suffering. These are treasured opportunities for personal growth and appreciation.

May I never regard the interchanges here as simple numbers and earned posting titles, like some field service report or auxiliary campaign in the WTBS. The benefits of interacting in this forum can be clinical and critical for those in crisis.

The occasional rantings and jousting matches serve as "polite" entertainment and add a unique variety, whereas we could all be sitting in a vehicle somewhere returning to private homes, some for the numerous times, hoping to spread the mild mannered and subliminal gangrene fo the WTBS on an unsuspecting victim.

Hi Mad: I was not backpeddling, but rather, suggesting alternative possibilities. I believe that the Plaintiffs will win this battle given NH mandatory reporting laws. "IF" they do not, then the alternative of this being among the many suits before the 'house of cards' caves in on the Society and other religions is a matter of time. That is why I likened this second possibility to what took place in the Tobacco industry. - Amazing

    Amazing:

Given the NHSC opinion I cited in the origial post, which says there is NO CIVIL ACTION/LIABILITY for not reporting, on what do you base your opinion that the Berrys will win because of the reporting law?

    Hello UR,

I make definitive statements because in my opinion, they are warranted. I work in the 1st federal circuit and am surrounded by judges and lawyers on a daily basis.

Usually, I don't accept definitive statements unless I have already read enough of a person's posts to form an opinion on his objectivity - and he presents his proofs. You can ask AlanF on that one, btw - concerning our conversation on Chitty & Greenlees.

Btw, you deftly did not say what you actually *do* that I should accept your opinions as difinitive statements of worth.

As far as posting numbers are concerned, there are two ways you could view the amount of posts and titles under one's belt in this forum:

You were the one who used the term "the respected and experienced posters" - not I. How does one judge experience on a particular forum by an unknown poster?

A person with a grandiose title (hmmm...reminds me of MT23:9) and a high numbers of posts (1000's) might be an avid debater or a wealthy debutante.

Simon, the owner, assigns titles - a moot point, none of us have any control over the matter. Experience would depend upon a person - not the number of posts. That's why I asked your background - not determining your worth by only looking at the number of your posts. That's what I would expect you'd do with me also. Grandiose set aside.

Posts are public interchanges of personal communication.

Good point. Some things might be better left personal. According to a respected and experienced poster, last week sensitive information briefly appeared on this board. Emotions ran high, and it was a judgemental mistake on the part of the poster - who was not a respected and experienced poster on this forum.

An old Swahili proverb says: SILENCE IS ALSO SPEECH.

Are you suggesting that we can put this issue to silence between us? Good point. Thank you.

I am puzzled. I believe you referenced the number of posts I had submitted in one of your earlier statements. I think you introduced numbers and equations into the discussion.

Granted, you disagree with my definitive statements, OK. I always consider disagreement a second chance to scrutinize my thoughts.
    Opinions can become opportunities.

Onto backgrounds, if it helps, I hold a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Roger Williams University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Pomona College. I am a technology manager with the US Federal Courts. I hold certifications from CISCO, Novell, 3COM and of course Microshaft (the WTBS of the digital world).

I was born in Catania Sicily and emigrated to the US at the age of ten. I speak, read, write FLUENTLY in spanish and italian. I was a JW for 10 years and former regular auxiliary pioneer.

I served in the US Marine Corps for five years active duty, and was wounded in Grenada. I served in Beirut and Cairo Egypt during operation bright star in 1985.

My study conductor is an intimate friend of RF and we still meet together on occasion. I have read all of the russell trash, the rutherford trash, and have not been current since the Proclaimer's book was released. I am currently inactive.

I hope that's enough background info for you to make a reasonable determination that I am not a troll or some fool-on-the-loose with a computer and lot's of time.

Now, let's make peace, and agree to disagree. You post alot of good material and I enjoy reading it. So, keep the knowledge going!
