There's a picture of Jesus in a watchtower some 6-7 years ago showing Jesus hauling a telephone pole. Funny funny funny.

Well I lifted it into place by myself but it's a heavy bastard thats for sure! I wouldn't want to carry it it all!
The question isn't "Was it only 100lbs?" but Could a person who had been through what jebus is claimed to have gone through have carried THEMSELVES a mile? Much less 45, 60, 75, or 100 lbs! I think this is more support of the cross theory in that if anything he may have carried a 3 foot long 4x4 to use as a cross member...

From Wikipedia:

This is how (since 1929) Jehovah's Witnesses typically describe the device on which Jesus was crucified, citing physiological considerations (see below) and what they consider to be an abhorrent similarity of the Latin cross to cross-like pagan symbols (e.g., the Egyptian ankh). However, this is not consistent with the Biblical description of nails (plural) through the hand (John 20:25), and a sign above Jesus's head not His hands (Matthew 27:37). And indeed, the semantic range of stauros included a more complex cross by synecdoche. Similarly, the crossbar (patibulum) could also be referred to as a "cross", and is most likely what Jesus carried to the "stauros" (stake) before they combined to form a cross.

I love the "since 1929" !!! Shows they changed!!
And what about this?? OUCH!!!
~~~~~~ snip ~~~~~~
A sedile, or a seat, was often attached to the cross, for the purpose of taking the man's weight off the wrists. This was most likely a simple peg or slab of wood, upon which the man would rest. A nail was often placed through the penis, into the sedile, as a means of securing the male to the seat.
I seem to remember hearing somewhere that he only had to carry the crossbar, which would have been much shorter. Then they would have just... um nailed the two pieces... together to... form... umm a ummm... CURSE YOU APOSTATE SCUM!
Your post is tooo funny!
I don't think there's anything more securely based in fact (if Jesus existed) that he died on a cross or an X or somewhere in between. The Romans even built in seats so the dying could retain a measure of "comfort" while they slowly died.
I once read that Superman could never have sex with Lois Lane. Because he is superstrong and a "man of steel", his sperm would be ejaculated at supersonic speed and riddle Lois's body like millions of pellets from a shotgun. She would literally explode and her head would be blown off.
ahahahahaa!
I can think of worse ways to die.
