Why thank you, C_Y_P. To be prepared is to be forearmed, right?

Jgnat, I love this idea. You are right on. Their moods are determined by the info. pumped into them during a specific week.

That's IT Listener, you've nailed it down. I can predict when JW co-workers are going to pick a fight based on the article they were fed that week. How can a JW display "Christian Love" when they are regularly told that they are surrounded by Satan's followers and deceivers?

This could be comical! Come to think of it, I remember my wife baking cookies for all the neighbors when we were new to the neighborhood. This was right after the study was about being a good example to the world or some such thing.

I definitely will pay attention to your predictions!

I WOULD LOVE feedback on my accuracy. Can you imagine how a JW would feel if they found out their moods are predicted and POSTED IN PUBLIC? If I could accurately predict their behavior, they would have to admit that there is very little free will in their daily decisions. How does it FEEL to be a PUPPET ON A STRING?

    Might make them go hmmmmmm.

September 15/05 (october17-23)- Walk by Faith Not by Sight! "We are walking by faith, not by sight."- 2Cor. 5:7 - another guess, don't question, just do. Ignore the evidence in front of you, it's from Satan.

September 15/05 (october24-30)- Go On Walking as Jesus Christ Walked. ((crooked and to the left.lol)) "He that says he remains in union with [God] is under obligation himself also to go on walking just as that one [Jesus] walked."- 1 john 2:6 - let me guess. Jesus shaved his beard, put on his suit and tie, and meekly went door-to-door.

I am very interested in JW reactions next week. Is your JW partner looking at you funny, like there might be horns sprouting abovewards and a spiky tail in the nether regions?

How was the past week, Partners of Witnesses? Did your beloved give you that "funny" look that means you've grown horns and fangs again? I am curious whether my "forecaster" is reliable.

2005/10/15 2005/11/20 Beware of developing a Haughty Heart

Pharoah, Hagar, Hezekiah were haughty and see what happened to them. Haughtiness originates with Satan. I call these articles manhood shrinkers. Break out the Viagra.

    2005/10/15 2005/11/27 Cultivate Genuine Humility

Soccer players succomb to the worldly tendency to excel, very bad. Stop fighting with other members of the congregation. Great anti-witness picture on page 28. Apparently soccer is evil.

2005/11/01 2005/12/04 Jehovah is Our Shepherd

Self-explanatory. This looks like a repeat. I know I've seen the picture before. Feel-good article. Good week to have a heart-to-heart with your partner.

2005/11/01 2005/12/11 Will You Walk With God?

The Watchtower trinity of meeting attendance, field service and study. Take advantage of one of those free passes to a fitness club and spend a few hours with your partner, side by side, on the treadmill.

Here's Blondie's forecast for next week. I am sure she won' t mind my sharing it:

The next WT is a severe kick in the pants to JWs who aren't obeying the WTS, who are taking "no note", who have "wrong motive," need to "adjust their thinking," "disappointed that Jehovah's (WTS) promises are not being fulfilled as quickly as we personally would like," "feel that explanations of the Scriptures in our Bible-based publications are difficult to understand," "stop walking with God" (stop walking with the WTS), "abandoned Jesus" (abandoned the WTS).

Me, I plan on "misplacing" the magazine and getting my JW hubby out of town.

2006 Yeartext: "We must obey God as ruler rather than men." -Acts 5:29.

Link to Severus' thread: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/10/100398/1.ashx (thanks, Severus)

    Commentary:

This article gives me chills. No, in these last days the persecution JW's suffer is not from being thrown in jail or to the lions or boiled in a headhunter's pot. The persecution JW's face today are:

    1. a Christian youth with unbelieving parents or a
    2. Christian wife with an unbelieving husband.
    3. What about a single Christian man or woman seeking a marriage mate?
    4. Or brothers and sisters who must have daily contact with non-Witness coworkers?

"...While not challenging his headship, neither the child nor the wife will compromise his or her faith. When it comes to attending Christian meetings, preaching the good news, avoiding unchristian customs and practices, and so on, each one "must obey God as ruler rather than men," remembering that Jehovah God is Head over all.-1 Cor. 11:3; Col. 3:23."

    Forecast:

It's going to be an awful year for those of us with JW loved ones or subordinates. We'll be viewed as the persecution every time we try and insert some normalcy.

    Antidote:

Blondie's comments on Severus' thread sums up the flaw in the article's reasoning very well; to obey God rather than men includes the leadership of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. In the months leading up to 2006, why not encourage your partner to study the bible on his own, without the guidance of any imperfect men, to make up his own mind on things. After all, doesn't he want to obey God rather than imperfect men?
