This thread put me in mind of Fast Show character Colin Hunt gibbering "I'm MAD, I am!!"

    I'm not crazy.

And I'm a very excellent driver.

I have found that saying you are crazy is a good outer further down the track. "Well, I told you I was crazy"! when said person is doing opposite of what they claimed to be...

I agree with, I think it was Fderek, that someone who claims to be a funloving crazy type of person usually is struggling to find something interesting about themselves and this carries on to the date. Boring.

    LOL

Here's a funny thing, I got up this morning and there's 17 emails in my inbox on a site where I can't read the mails (because I'm not a paid up member) and two of them are from the following user names: CRAZYCHICK1056

    and CRAZY CHICK984

What are the chances of that considering I've just been on a date with " :p Crazy Chick"

    AM I ATTRACTING THEM?

Does your profile mention that you drive a motorbike? Women who style themselves as 'crazy chicks' are sure to equate motorcycle with 'bad boy', and will have fantasies about the leather-clad bad boy who will whisk them off to exciting adventures.

Tal, ermmmmm, yes it does. Hell, I can wisk people away for adventures, it's just that I'm past night clubbing till 3 or 4 in the morning, 3 or 4 nights a week and a lot of women my age are done with having children. : (

Is it cool or it helps to be crazy? I'll stick with 'helps.'

Hmm, most of the 3/4 a.m. clubbing around here is indulged in by college students and 20-somethings. Perhaps you are meeting the wrong women? When I say 'whisk off to adventures', I mean of the wildly dangerous, he's-such-a-bad-boy kind that little girls (chronologically supposed to be adults) who live in a dream world imagine will make their lives more exciting.

Maybe you could look at professional associations, singles clubs, and volunteering as a source for meeting women ... either that, or consider revising your profile to reflect your interest in settling down and how for you, that doesn't spell b-o-r-i-n-g routine. (I confess, I'm not extremely knowledgeable about computer dating, but have read some profiles, and the ones that catch my eye are men who have passionate interests, and are realistic ... ie, no 'walks on the beach-I-believe-in-fairy-tales' fantasy talk.)

    Hi ballistic,

I wouldn't discard people because they write in their profile that they are crazy. Although I personally wouldn't use this word, "crazy" can mean many things. It can be positive as well. Perhaps someone calls herself crazy, as in "different" and different can be good. Does this make sense?
